Before you begin reading, understand what you’re getting into.
The male lead of this story is not a green flag, a misunderstood sweetheart, or a man you should romanticize. He is extremely toxic, controlling, possessive, obsessive, dominant, manipulative, a walking red flag and BIPOLAR. His behaviour is unhealthy, destructive, and often difficult to justify.
The female lead, on the other hand, is timid, submissive, emotionally vulnerable, and far from the fierce, independent heroine many readers may expect.
This story explores flawed people, messy emotions, unhealthy dynamics, and morally questionable choices. It is not meant to be a guide to relationships, nor is it intended to present these characters as role models.
If you’re looking for a wholesome, healthy, vanilla romance, this story is probably not for you.
